We’re pleased to announce the following keynote speakers:
- Sheena Byrom, Midwifery Consultant
- Florence Wilcock, Consultant Obstetrician, Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
- Tony Kelly, National Clinical Director for National Maternal and Neonatal Health Safety Collaborative, NHS Improvement
The afternoon will be workshop focused with the choice of the following sessions available to delegates on the day:
- Continuity of Carer – Claire Mathews, Cheshire and Merseyside Early Adopter
- BirthRate+ acuity tool for intrapartum care – Marie Washbrook, BirthRate+
- Human Factors – Nathalie Delaney, West of England Academic Health Science Network
- Place of Birth research – Dawn Coleby, The University of Nottingham
- Mums Up and Mobile – Dawn Morrall, Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust/SW Maternity Clinical Network
We are keen for a wide range of stakeholders in maternity services to participate in the event, including obstetricians, midwives, student midwives, delivery suite matrons and coordinators, practice development leads, obstetric labour leads, PROMPT/MDT training leads, birth unit matrons and managers, community midwifery matrons and leads, maternity support workers, commissioners and service users, so please do share widely.
