How to influence (even if you’re not the boss) delivered by Dr Rachel Morris
Many healthcare professionals are in roles where they have no direct control over what people do but need to influence the clinical environments in which they work, implement best practices and win people over. Often tricky conversations or negotiations are needed but people are worried about ruining the relationship or making things difficult.
This training will help you:
• Identify the stories in your head that are causing you to respond in unhelpful ways
• Understand how others may be motivated, and use different ‘currencies’ to influence
• Listen and be empathetic to others’ interests and needs in order to come up with a win-win solution
