                                                            Professor John Gruzelier& Dr Deborah Bowden

                                              (lectures/lunch/workshop: 10 am-5 pm) 5 hours of verifiable CPD

 

John Gruzelier MA, PhD, FBPS, FIOP, FRSM, FRSA, is Emeritus Professor of Psychology at Goldsmiths, University of London, and a renowned international speaker, with over 350 publications and numerous professional awards. He has conducted extensive research in cognitive neuroscience, and  carried out controlled studies with self hypnosis/visualisation, Johrei, Reiki, Brain Wave Vibration and EEG-neurofeedback, the latter of which his research is accredited for rehabilitating the field, such that neurofeedback is now centre stage in neuroscience.

Deborah Bowden BSc, MRes, PhD, conducted her doctorate in Psychology at Goldsmiths under the supervision of Prof Gruzelier, researching the efficacy of Reiki. She then went on to carry out postdoctoral research with him into the effects of yoga and meditation on mood, health and wellbeing.
