Infection Prevention and Control
We are currently recruiting for the next running of our Postgraduate Certificate in Infection Prevention and Control, which is run with the Peninsula School of Medicine and Dentistry.
This is a two-module course, with the first module running January-March 2012 and the second September-November 2012.
The course is designed for medical staff, nurses and allied health professionals working in either the community or acute healthcare setting.
The course covers Microbiology, Epidemiology, Immunology and Infection Control Principles as well as providing training on how to practically implement preventative measure in clinical practice.
Feedback from previous course has been extremely positive.
As well as registering for the PGCert, people are welcome to attend individual modules for CPD purposes.
